UNN is the broadcasting system of Communication Corner (CC) with FM broadcast at 90 MHz at Kathmandu and VSAT audio broadcast in Nepal and South Asia. UNN provides our listeners with access to people and perspectives rarely unheard in other forms of media in Nepal. For true democracy to function, people need easy access to independent and unbiased source of information. Ordinary people, grass root activities, peace activities, artists, academics, public policies and independent analysts are the core of UNN. In addition, UNN cater programs on real debates – debates between ordinary people and policy makers why they disagree in substances and how their disagreements mean in their lives. CC is the sole authorized organization to run the VSAT audio channels and it operates the Ujyaalo broadcast system with open channel at VSAT 24/7 days. Ujyaalo 90 Network combines Ujyaalo 90 FM in Kathmandu valley and Ujyaalo VSAT network that reaches across the country and South Asian regions. UNN is broadcast on different 45 FM stations from Mechi east to Mahakali west of Nepal.

With the growing number of listeners every day, UNN serves about 18 millions listeners in partnership with various radio networks across the country. More than 80 percent of the Nepali people are in the range of UNN. Geographically speaking, UNN covers about 85 percent of total areas of Nepal. UNN also reaches Nepali language speaking regions various South Asian countries like Nepal, India, Bhutan and Myanmar through China Star Satellite. UNN serves as an independent national radio alternative for the state owned Radio Nepal that is broadcast on SW and MW.
